This question is applied to a N/A engine but I thought I would ask here. I'm looking at getting the Hypertech Shogun Power Tuner to control my spark timing, fuel pressure, and to raise my rev limit. But I will be running a high compression ratio, 11.1:1. I have a concern about knock with that high of a CR and was wondering if I should get the J&S to prevent knock before I can get everything tuned the way it needs to be and would it work along with the Hypertech?
Or should I not worry about it because the JDM ITR runs at a 11:1 CR, USDM ITR at 10.8:1 without knock? But of course they're tuned.
